一 | (ECNS) -- Beijing Subway Line 22, the capital's first urban rail route linking neighboring Hebei Province, began emptyload trial operations Tuesday, according to the Beijing Major Projects Construction Headquarters Office and BII Railway Transportation Technology Holdings Company Limited. Stretching about 79.1 kilometers with a speed up to 160 km/h on elevated sections and 120 km/h underground, Subway Line 22 runs from Hongmiao in Chaoyang district to Pinggu New Town, with 20 stations in total, including 15 in Beijing and five in Hebei. Once operational, travel from Yanjiao Town in Hebei to Beijing's Sub-Center Station will take just nine minutes, while journeys to Hongmiao Station in the capital's central business district will be about 28 minutes. Officials described Line 22 as a "major transport artery" for regional integration. The route will connect with multiple existing lines, including transfers at Hongmiao to Line 14, Guanzhuang to Line 1, Beiguan to Line 6, and Beijing Sub-Center Station to Line 6 and the Beijing-Tangshan intercity railway. The line is expected to be ready for opening by year's end. (By Gong Weiwei)
。 Saif Ali Khan may not have a public presence on social media, but according to Neha Dhupia, the actor isn’t completely offline. Neha revealed that Saif maintains a private account. This is one that he uses to quietly keep an eye on what’s being said about him.
Neha recalled a candid exchange from an interview she did with Saif nearly five to six years ago. At the time, she had asked him about online trolling. Despite insisting he wasn’t officially on social media, Saif admitted that he did have a personal, hidden account. Through it, he’d occasionally scroll through comments and posts. Neha added that Saif had predicted the growing severity of online behaviour, warning that trolling would eventually attract strict monitoring by cybercrime authorities — something she noted is already becoming a reality.
In the conversation with Zoom, addressing the increasing toxicity online, Neha also spoke about the rise in AI-driven misuse targeting women in the industry. “What happened recently with a couple of actresses — the way AI was misused — it’s alarming,” she said. While relieved that offenders are now being held accountable, she admitted she has grown more resilient over time. “It used to make me angry, but now I’m thick-skinned. Ab farak nahi padta (it doesn’t affect me anymore).”
